The original Bayfordbury Estate was developed in 1757 and included an ornamental lake, plantation woodland and a Pinetum. Bayfordbury Campus retains its picturesque setting and is home to over 150 species of conifers, rich ground flora, grassland supporting large butterfly populations and onsite honey bee hives making it a truly unique location to host your next training event or away day.

Just six miles from College Lane Campus set in a 372 acre estate near Hertford, the surrounding countryside and distance from light polluting towns helps make Bayfordbuy a fantastic location for its observatory and a unique location for hosting a meeting or team building activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Facilities

The Bayfordbury Campus has a dedicated 70 seat auditorium with the latest Audio Visual equipment. Alongside the main auditorium, there are also additional rooms available including a boardroom for up to 12 delegates, a computer lab, intimate meeting rooms and a video conference suite.

The Bayfordbury Campus is unique site with a lot to offer. Ideal for Staff training days, getaway meetings, group visits and school trips. The friendly staff are available to accommodate your group and present a variety of tours, talks and activities for all age groups with an interest in the Observatory or the Field Centre for Life and Medical Sciences.
